Derwent wreck, Mandurah artificial reef

Has anyone fished the Derwent wreck in recent times or tried the Mandurah artificial reef. I should think that there should be something around the reef by now, even if it is only sambos. Time has just escaped me from doing so but I'll have to get out to both places when some good weather comes along and I can dodge cutting the lawn.

Yep I agree with you it is a hell of a way from Mandurah, however I was thinking some one from NoR might have gone that far. When you read about how far some people travel to do some deep drop fishing the west coast of Africa doesn't seem out of the question.
Mandurah artificial reef, I'm amazed that there hasn't been even a mention of this on the forum so far, yes I admit that I haven't been out to it yet, there always seems to be something come up that takes going to the reef out of the time available equation when I'm on the water I'll have to make it a specific trip to go there and sound the reef out.

getting home from work on
getting home from work on wednesday. havent been out to it yet but plan to give the artificial a crack at some stage over my week off, try jig up some sambos n stretch the arms out.
will do a little report with some video if it goes well.

Looking forward to your post, it would be a laugh if it has a big school of pinkies in residence. Everyone will be kicking themselves for not looking sooner, including myself.
