diving

after a few discussions about the powerdive we decided to go down to rocko today with the boat and give freediving a go and to test out our new video camera extention , plus testing how far i can go down with ear pressure. we were just inside john ledge reef in nearly 5 mtrs , first dive was to check the anchor was holding and yeah there was a bit of pressure but not too bad , swam around a bit with the video camera , lots of weed on the rocks and a few wrass but had fun anyway , the vis wasnt too bad . had to go down one more time to retrieve the anchor as it got stuck under a bloody rock but on the secnd time down no pressure at all ,so the next step will be getting the powerdive (after the lpg goes on the 4x4),looking forward to doing more diving now i know i can go to that depth with no probs.

the video camera seems to work well now just to find some good ground and to work out u tube

Russ - I must warn you this is addictive.  Infact at the moment, I think I am more into diving then fishing!

Russ talk to me about power snorkels. What are they, never heard of them...

Three days without it and I get a little jumpy

easiest way to describe them

Sat, 2009-01-17 20:34

easiest way to describe them is a hookah that floats on the water and follows you around , try googling it that will explain it better , the proper name is powerdive
