Done for Donuts

Been a bit slack & haven't popped up any pics of recent trips out, after a phone call from another member last night to remind me that we "were a bit quiet" I thought I would pull the finger out.

Another reason for some tumbleweeds is I got done for donuts by Seaquest last week, who clearly rubbed his wedding tackle or some sh!t all over my spool because I couldn't get a freakin' hookup on plastics or jigs & had a case of dropsies! Was a hard day with a northerly drift & painful to see good fish lit up on the sounder but they didn't want to play, anyway there are two certanties 1) pics will tell the story 2) Seaquest will keep reminding me of his BOG performance

When asked by a non-fisherman 'how many fishing rods do you really need?' the correct answer is either:

n+1 (where n is the number of fishing rods you currently own); or

n-1 (where n is the number of fishing rods which would cause your significant other to dump you.

If I spent half as long fishing , as I do reading this bloody forum , I'd be twice the fisherman I am.

Slow day when you see the sounder light up on the spots & you having to work hard but a bloody nice day on the water.

That's Doaky's posiedon spin jerker, yep it has all the dimensions of a bream stick & he punishes the sh!t out of it. I do have some video kicking around of that loaded right up & the drag humming on a dhuie trying to ruin his day

Cheers for the comments

Cheers for the last couple of trips out kitten arms. Good to let someone else do the skippering duties for a change.

Maybe you should look at some of the jigging vids posted lately to get that action right and start contributing to the esky.

Tim-O the Posiedon Spin Jerker is an awesome stick and has knocked over many solid dhuies and a couple of horse sambo as well. Still amazes me the power that rod has for such a thin blank.
