Down South Groper Bash off the Rocks
Gday all just thought id see if anyone was keen to tag along on a couple night trip to my Blue Groper spot on the south coast down Albany way. I have room in my car or alternatively you can bring your own 4x4. If the weather holds true to the forcast(please, please, please!!!!!) i will be leaving from Busselton early next Monday morning then returning Wednesday sometime with main fishing to be conducted on Tuesday.
I bring all my own safety gear for rock fishing if you are concerned about the safety side, eg ropes to tie off to the bolted in anchor points, EPIRB, PFD's etc. The journey does require a fair bit of driving to get there and 4x4ing at the end, then a nice walk down to the rocks. It is a totally protected spot from swell, its just any wind from the East that buggers it up.

To easy mrwinta i usually do a trip down there in Dec/Jan too, but its harder that time of year with all the easterly winds(which makes it good fishing off the west coast though!)
I actually start my new full-time job on the 12th of Oct, so i think the freedom of being a casual will be gone for quiet a while and will have to organise my fishing around my work, not the other way around
