Easter Salmon?

Hi FW Crew, was wondering if there had been any regular sightings of salmon in the sound yet? Got my brother and his young bloke staying with me for a couple of days and was hoping to take them out and get their arms stretched, would be launching from Palm beach or Point Peron. Heard they were firing at the jetty a couple of weeks back but haven't heard of any since.

Cheers guys.

BD.

Most, if not all...

...salmon reports from the sound have been relating to juveniles. The adult fish simply aren't here yet. Having said that, there were a couple full size ones caught in Warnbro sound earlier today.

Thought as much

Yeah, that's what I was afraid of Auslobster. Might give it a crack anyway. Could try FFB for some real fish but the forecast doesn't look amazing (probably doable though) and the crew aren't really seasoned deckies, will see what happens. Plan B might be some squid and hezzas.

Cheers for the input boys.

Havent heard of any migratory fish yet, only resident juvis. Everyones eager for salmon to come around but nobody seems interested about the macks and tuna in the sound, crazy!

Don't worry, I'll be looking for any bird activity and hope there are some tuna around. Are the macks busting up in schools or just solitary fish?

 Fish off the rocks, still

Fish off the rocks, still lots of swimmers in the beach area. If fish are in small groups they swim right along the edge of the rocks.
