Esperance fishing???

hey guys, Heading to esperance for work.. never been down there was hoping to get out an about for a bit of land based fishing. any tips or spots would be cool? cheers

Most good beaches are a little drive away like rossiters good for mulloway, salmon , shark then u could go west towards 11 mile and roses are very good aswell 4wd would be needed to access beaches

tanker jetty is good value
herring yellowtail slimmy mackeral gardies snook and some monster squid are getting caught just about every day of the jetty. salmon beach for the obvious is nice and close to town be careful of the slimmy black stuff.
years ago a japanese man went missing of the rocks when he slid into water then a couple of weeks later one of his relatives went in at exactly the same spot and also disapered.
any of the beaches is worth a look at around Cape le Grand lots of nice spots of the rocks with the possability of many types of fish. april may is the best time of the year to be there, perfect weather not to windy.
nice beaches further around from salmon beach along the twilight beach road. 11 mile being one of my favourite. some descent mullaway have been caught there.

As for the squid, Good
As for the squid, Good quality glowing squid jigs fished under the lights at night time. When i was there i found that around 9:30 onwards till middnight is best for them. Keep moving till you get one then fish that light for a while you should get a couple at least.
Herring everywhere on the jetty and also snook under the herring later one. One tip for fishing the jetty tho is watch out for the younger seal its cheeky as and will steal or fish.
