exmouth

im heading up to exmouth at the end of september
any one know of some sweet areas to get some good grub?

does any one know what will be bitting in the gulf?
we have some spots but what should we target?

The potshot has some good grub, depends what your chasing.... ;) Prepare for wind mate, coz she will be a blowing by then. The water should have started warming up by then so tuna will be on the go and the usual bottomies in the right areas. Apart from that and seeing as Gatesy put it on fishing australia so its no real secret anymore, chase the cobia under the mantas as they will be around.

try Adam Galashes , he always seems to be eating mud crab , squid or some other delicasy from that area :), there is a couple of nice places to eat, there is this nice little place near a health food shop just behind the supermarket , verry nice and the prices arent too bad either

I thought it would be a rip off but took the wife and kids in for a Rankine and chips in James Squire Beer Batter....Beuuutiful and reasonably priced considering the location and freshness of the fish. Nothing worse than going all that way, ordering fish and chips and getting rubber band squid rings and fish from another country. The Novatel uses fresh Exmouth fish only ( I know someone who has inspected their freezers and kitchen) and they even let our kids swim in the pool!
