Talk to the blokes at Bluewater Tackle and the Fisheries people who will tell you where you can fish and what is being caught and where. The fisheries will know as they just about see and measure all that comes from the water.

 For a chance at GT's,

For a chance at GT's, queenies and other trevally try around Mildura Wreck and the beaches near that area. Plenty of fun to have. Someone might correct me but high tide would be best around those area's - but on a low tide you might be able to walk out to the wreck.

Maybe the lighthouse beach might be worth a shot also.

Small stick baits like the storm or maria's would be good - but I enjoyed using the halco spinners 20-30g

 your gear will be fine

your gear will be fine mate.

When getting to Mildura wreck carport there is a track that goes off to the right.  Follow that to the end and walk over the dunes to get to the oyster rocks.  Low tide is good there but wear rock hopper boots with the metal spikes.  Mid sized poppers and stickbaits are good for queenfish and GT.  I prefer stickbaits as you can wind em flat out and queens love em.

Navy jetty is worth a long walk.  Most prefer high tide at night there for GT

Tresel pull in the worth a look at high tide using smaller poppers
