Exmouth Classic ...how we went!
The first Exmouth Classic has finished . It was a weekend of shocking weather ( worse than the Exmouth comp) . Not many larger size fish were caught all were probably smaller than the FW exxy comp too.
The first 2 days we didnt actually catch to much . on the 2nd day we caught the biggest cod i have ever seen, in about 8 metres of water. It went about 40kgs. to big to keep but was released well. today we finally caught some fish for the tablebut not for the scoreboard. We got 1 Amberjack and 2 estuary cod and a couple of small snapper .
We didn't win on the scoreboard but as a mystery prize Alex scored himself some goodies.. being a junior he also got a $100 voucher for Bluewater.
His mystery prize was a 7ft Ugly Stick and a Saltist 40H. So bloody proud of my little man.

Nice
Considering the weather not a bad result really,
Look out dad I think you have some competition now with Alex's new setup. Wont be long and you will get sore fingers from taking too many pics of his fish
