Exmouth marina

Hi all. My mate and I are heading up to Exmouth soon, and I have a feeling that the wind is going to be a pain in the butt. We have a 4.2 tinnie, and usually fish the inner reef at tantabiddi. I was wondering, as a plan B, if the wind is too bad, trying to fish around the marina. Is that worth a try, or would we be wasting our time?
Any feedback would be awesome.

Have met a few people whom
Have met a few people whom spear aorund the outside of the rockwalls and do quite well...so they say though from personal experience, i caught a small snook there once.
