Exmouth ugly fish?

A mate caught this in Exmouth out deep. Has me stumped. Any ideas?

 if its from the deep it would explain the flattened forehead, cant see where its going and ran into too many rocks.

a tile fish got a couple up there in the 170-80’s last year out from tantabiddi
