Expressions of interest!!!!
Having talked to quite a few members of fishwrecked latley the topic of a landbased get together has come up. Some dont like to get out on boats and others like both so i thought if anyones interested we could plan a day (or weekend) were we could head to a destination together for a fish.
I was thinking jurien bay or white hills (mandurah) and give the beach a bash or open to any other opions as i know some people are SOR so any sugestions are appreciated. There are a few of us that have 4x4 if they are needed or we could go somewhere where there not.
If your keen add your name to the list and we'll pick a date to suit. At this stage i was thinking of the weekend in november (17th). Could bring it forward if we get some high interest. Cheers chris.

Most of us are up for catch and release but keepers are fine if your well aquiped to keep them ( have to catch something first :0) Would also make a great photo.......looking good at this point. See how we go in short notice but yeah a couple of "SPESS'S SPECIAL BREW" could be up for a prize too :) Its a bit hard to desinate rules and what not. Just keep it simple and see how it all goes. Be just good to get a few together and see if we cant have some fun. :)

No need for rules, just fish and have fun. Biggest fish prize is just a bit of incentive to keep that line in the water just that little bit longer. :)) Only thing we need is a photo for the rest of us on the site to see.

If there is a lot of 4x4s going
White hills is tonarrow for camping with the water at your foot , Flat rock or loonies would be the best for camping with lots of reef to walk out on to fish or looonies a huge bay with big gutters and some nice mulloway to be had.

At this stage i think we will work on a one day expodition. An over night thing may to to hard to organize and if this goes alright we could look to have one soon after. Many people i guess dont have the equipment to stay the night and it becomes to much of an organization problem IMO.
Now all we have to do is pick a destination that is accessable to all. I think we will work on the 2nd weekend in november being the "10th"! . If its any later it will be hard to keep on track whos coming and hows not. General beach fishing gear will be required and a early start WILL be also needed to get there early enough. We may beable to meet at mandurah somewhere and head down from there to white hills but we can get that sorted later.
Please house your thoughts on "white hills" mandurah as our destination.
This is my thoughts:
:Flatrock / loonies (north of two rocks) isnt accessable for people who arent fully capable 4x4 drivers,
:Jurien bay being 2.5hours away might be just too far from perth for a group destination.
White hills is pretty easy going and i think theres enough guys with 4x4 that if we all can take one or two people we will get there ok. And the destination has plenty of "beach" room for fishing comfortably.
Please house your opinions on mandurah "white hills" below. PLEASE KEEP AWAY FROM BANTER SO WE CAN GET THIS SORTED ASAP. Please give me the plusses and minuses of this place. If you have not one dont add anything.
This is important so people dont get confused. "10th november" white hills! Keep this date free.

There is 3 tracks left /right both easy, and middle a bit tought but ok ,Every one knows how to get to whitehills but flatrock and loonies a lot harder to find i think that is the go, Any way if it is the 10th i will be staying over night till the sunday

Yeah, definitly wanna go north, flatrock, loonies or jurien bay is all good with me however, unfortunately i can only make it on the 17th cos thats when my wife goes o/seas on holiday and I get 2 weeks to myself! :P

i would probably recomend you give the jurien areas a miss. Two land based clubs fishing that area Offshore angling club on the 10th and Surfcasters on the 17th November......

Thats a triple "SSS" secret spot sherbs!lol. Alright flatrock it is! Ill post up some confirm details tomorrow on what you will need a meeting place and a few odd rules i think are inportant when going to this place! Jokes aside the beach is soft, if the wind picks up it can be dangerous while fishing (ask sherbert he always falls over on the reefy areas!lol.) And we cant have people stuffing around on the beach as rangers will fine and kick out. Keep an eye out for the new post up tomorrow. Cheers Chris.
