Watching it now, and you can see all the inconsistencies with the recreated stories. E.g. the catfish guy starting with a threadline, then moving to a overhead. Or the fly fishing guy who at one point had a fighting grip, but the rest was a single grip. I guess they have to add a bit more footage to make it more interesting, but would be good to have a little consistency :p.
Some awesome fish landed though. Nearly 100kg tarpon
(though, heaps of them when they're using the rods show the rods hardly bent. Either crank up the drag or match rods better, haha)
And I know what you mean. He went from an old black Threadline, maybe a really old Mitchell, to a modern silver and blue threadline (maybe an abu) to an overhead, etc.
boring after awhile. I began switching between that show and Hooked.
I admire Robson Green as an actor, but he does carry on a bit and he is a bit a sook in real life. He was almost crying when a little crab nipped him in the first episode.
I want to see how he goes when he goes rock fishing - which I think is coming up in one of the future episodes.

I think that was a show called Hooked Matt
And I know what you mean. He went from an old black Threadline, maybe a really old Mitchell, to a modern silver and blue threadline (maybe an abu) to an overhead, etc.

Yeah confusing the names of the two. On Extreme fishing, he went bow fishing, then speared some barracuda/caught a shark.

I am still a bit uncertain as to why those guys were shooting
Moore hens in the swamp with high powered rifles.
