faulkners trip PART 4 UNDERWATER SHOTS
Submitted by Faulkner Family on Sun, 2008-07-27 17:30
Ok be warned we are not very good at taking underwater shots (first timers) ha ha but gave it a go and had a ball doing it as a family all but poor Nathan as he felt something at his feet and was out of there. All Are taken with our new Olympus 1030 sw it was easy to use and takes video with sound. Next year we will have more experience as during the closed seasons we are going to hit rotto for practice *LOL Only snorkelled at one place it is here at the Oyster Stacks is 69 km from Exmouth in the national park on the tantabiddi side
Look at the top of the water
Sorry it was a bit longer than i intended *smile*

Housing!
The housing for this camera does come with the option of a fish eye lens which will give you a wider angle on your shots and great to use with the video mode in the boat as it will pick up a whole lot more action with its larger field of focus..

Great shot of the ray
Great shot of the ray feeding. Natural behaviour shots like that tell and show so much more.
You'll all be fighting over the use of the camera now - A few more on the Xmas shopping list now!
Cheers Pete

Russ & Sandy
must agree with everybody, very good photos for first time, I've taken the name of that camera you use as I also love to snorkel when we can't go fishing (mainly in Leeman), some beautiful spots further north of Leeman when the tides out the reefs are exposed and I'll be putting the camera on my Xmas list (nudge the old fart with 4x4 plank to get it for me) once again fantastic.
