Favourite reel

Thought I would post up another topic what is your favourite reel,I know everyone has different budgets on what they can afford so does not matter if it is a Kmart special or top of the range each to their own.Plus a few reasons why it is your favourite
Mine would be my Saltiga 6500 Dogfight
I can use it for popper fishing
bottom bouncing,
jigging
and trolling
it is built strong, has been given some punishment and not let me down where as a few others that I own have had to be repaired or retired,I have used it all over the world in different fishing enviroments both boat and landbased,I have three spare spools for it so I can run different line class's
Will start another topic on your favourite rod

I really like my saltiga 6500 exp and penn 30vsw but for general versatility around the metro area this reel will definately be my favourite.

Penn 8500ss
it's old but it never fails - neither does my brother's Mitchell 499 museum piece. Both reels have accounted for a lot of good fish.

Could do anything with this. Light enough yet strong, and left some $$$$ in the wallet rather than the $Stella$ price.

Depends
Depends on what type of fishing.
From beach or rocks one of a collection of 499Mitchells and from boat either an Abu7000 or Abu6500 depending on chucking lures or bottom bouncing

my fishing
is so many and varied, I honestly dont have a favourite. I have to make tough decisions and I cant play favourites - as much as I like my Penn Torque 300, it hits the pine if I go trout fishing, I cant afford to be too attached to one reel.
