FCV585 or C120? - both with 600 Transducer

Hi guys
Which would be the better unit if they were the same price (ie used)
FCV585 with 600w through hull transducer, OR
Raymarine C120 with DSM30 (600w) and through hull 600w transducer
I need to make a decision really shortly and am looking for the collective wisdom herein to help.
Cheers
Brad

Brad, I have used both. My
Brad, I have used both. My mate runs dual E80's (with DSM300 and 1 kW) and my old man runs an E80 (essentially the same) with a DSM30 and B744 thru hull on his Riv and it is a really good unit. I think the 585 porforms a bit better in deeper water, but if you are staying under 100m, splitting hairs, and the larger screen of the C120 plus ability to have GPS on the same screen so you can backtrack and save waypoints on the go, I would say C120 better.
If your heading deeper than 100m a lot, go the 585, the TVG works better with the Furuno.
