Filling holes in glass hull

What do people generally fill old holes in the hull with? Mine are below the water line and in the upper half, with white gel coat. Do I use some sort of white epoxy product, or will something softer like sika-flex or silicon be ok?

Very fine Wet and dry back to finish.  Polish.

Sika is a quick fix, does work but could loosen over time.

I'm no expert, but I mix the gel and wait for it to stiffen up a little before using.  Mix a small amount first and time how along it takes to go off as a guide.
