fin nor 950 offshore line lsy

hey guys. Have had my 950 offshore for while and have never been able to get the line lsy even! Thought it might be because of casting distance with the way it lays from narrow at bottom to wide at top but not sure. Just wasting alot of spool that could be loaded up with more line. For those that have them do you have the same problem or can you fix it with washers (which I couldnt see anyway). Any help would be great.

Sorry Tangles wish i could help!

I read your thread because I'm interested in the feedback on the reel.

For what it's worth, a few mates have them and from memory their line lay was ok!

No worries ,the off shore

No worries ,the off shore series are bullet proof in my opinion.
Took a bit to get used to the dog tooth anti reverse set up . In the end it was only the weight that put me off.

My 950 line lay is even and I am happy the performance the finnor has given me. Okuma reels have let me down on the other hand...

I fixed the anti reverse problem. The anti reverse actuator spring had jumped out of its recess. Easy fix.

Try a washer to lift the spool a whisker.

Go the washer. Take a few of different thickness with you to the beach/rocks. The tackle shop should have a few to help you.
