Are you talking about the
Are you talking about the Santiagos which are their tournament leverdrags and the only reels in their range which are around your budget, everything else is much less, with the Marquesas at around $400. What are you intending to do with it, Santiagos are trolling leverdrags designed for line class gamefishing, Marquesas are more suited to jigging and bottom fishing (esp with their high drag specs) and the stardrag offshores are the general workhorses of the clan. Have heard anecdotally of some corrosion probs in the Santiagos but quality is def reliable across the range.

Sounds like a Marquesa would
Sounds like a Marquesa would be most suitable, wouldn't wanna be hanging on to a Santiago bottom fishing all day and ratio may be a little low.
I'm running 85lb Daiwa 8 tournament on a 16 and it does a good job, there are 2 speed Marquesas being released soon making them even more versatile.
