I dunno...

Yea thanks was pre excited at first but thinking about how it fought i am pretty bumbed. You'd think that a fish of that size and rep would of done alot more than just 3 or so 5m runs

3 runs back to the bottom then they give up normally. Somtimes they fight for a bit longer

I had a bit of a drift around Warnbro Sound this morning, butterfish everywhere, had a couple of big marks on the sounder though.

Gear size?

Thu, 2017-09-14 15:10

You don't mention what size gear or how deep you were fishing. Everything is relative.

I think what he ment was the fact that a same size salmon, kingy (or any of the trevs fam for that matter), drummer, groper, and even a small shark can still manage to put up a good fight with the gear used, where as the dhuies do a few bursts and it's all over. Dosent mean they don't fight I'm just saying I think for him their fight is dull when compared to what else is out there.
