Didak was good. Wc played cloke and daisy back into form but a good effort and they ran out of legs. Goes to show need to be top 4 for both WA clubs

well done to the pies thats the best game they played for a while and certainly wiped the smugness off a few of my mates faces, still after another brutal game I think hawks and sydney will be playing the GF
Someone better check on Vince to make sure he hasnt taken it too hard and driven his 4by off flatrocks

A bit sad though. A couple of simple errors show how tough this game can be. Two highlights for me 1. The Fuggin ball was CLEARLY over the line and the fuggin commentators insisted it was the wrong decision 2. Embley.. WOW, what can I say?????

Pies came out after half time
Pies came out after half time a different side, every player went atleast 10% harder, numbers around the footy and intense pressure on the opposition when they had possesion, something the pies are know for, but havent shown recently. But still too many skill errors especially dropped marks and poor delivery inside forward 50. If they can fix that, well the record agsinst the swans may continue......

Thats the trouble barracking for a team like the pies, all you get over here is how good the weegirls are and sometimes a mention of the dockers and sweet bugger all on your team. From the write up in the weeks papers you would think the game had already been played and the local sides were playing again next week -------------------sooorry, reality check, both have gone down to buy some mothballs.
So much for armchair footy critics, the Pies and Hawks will survive to play another week.

I'll bite Channel 7 have an affiliation with the Eagles that's why they are reported on more so than the Dockers. What do you expect Carnarvonite you live in Western Australia.Go live in Melbourne if you want to listen to all the media hype surrounding your team.I bet the Eagles hardly rate a mention over there. Of course the print media are going to milk it for all it's worth this is where the supporter base lives.

Why should I have to change? Just because a couple of new teams start up and die hard supporters are supposed to get a patriotic and change to your home state, don't thinks so, though a lot of feeble minded unfaithfuls did and go crook at you because you didn't follow their ëxample!

Eagles aren't exactly new. No you don't have to change at all but you have to accept that the game has evolved into the AFL. Maybe what you want is to can the dockers and Eagles and go gack to the VFL. aint gonna happen. The reason for you last comment is tall poppy syndrome the Vics can't handle the fact that a West Aus team has had so much success in "their league". And I'm the first to admit if it wasn't for Mick Malthouse coming over here and coaching we would never have had that success. You're side is lucky also to have had him to get them where they are today.

Then you could still place the pies as number 2

Not hard core as some, because Dockers are second favourite team, but a sorry weekend for WA football.
Dockers certainly did well and on the rise. Will be primed next year. Your hated Eagles didnt do as well as last year, but I suspect injuries played a big part, and they will be there next year.
But I dont cry over spilled milk.
I think the era of the mightly pies are just about over. I see this year as their last Hoorah and then its rebuild time. Malthouse saw this and bailed. Watch out for the Blues next year, surely they cant be that bad again.
I would like Sydney or Adelaide to win, then I cant believe I am saying it, Hawks. Collingwood rate as high with me as the Eagles does with you, but we all have our teams. Either way it pans out, the rest will do the top 2 teams the world off good.
Thus Sydney and Hawks in the GF. And even though I cant bring myself to saying it, The Hawks will previal.
