I'm concerned with Melbourne's scoring record this year
Gawn will control the ruck contests, so the Eagles need to be at their best next week and make every post a winner.
Need more from our midfield to counter the Dees.
Hopefully the extra week's rest will be of benefit too.

The Dees turned the ball over time n time again coming into fwd 50, if you can get em on the rebound you'll get em...
I think the Hawks failed to do that and thats where the game was lost...

The Dees last week dominated Geelong, if it wasnt for shitful inaccurate kicking then Geelong would have been done by 15 goals, last night the Hawks had plenty of opportunity to put real finals scoreboard pressure on the Dees and turn the game in their favour.
They failed to do so and the rest is history, there is no bigger example of this when Gunston hit the post from 15mtrs out and then it went straight down the other end and Melbourne goaled.
Big game moment, Hawks kick that goal and win the next clearance Melbourne would have been on the back foot.
Melbourne are fast starters and like the game played their way.

Dee's have a superior midfield to the eagles, thats the group that will need to stand up next weekend. Melbpurne defenders wont be able to control th esgles forwards its just going to be the ability to deliver it in there.

Am I getting this right pay double for football semi finials
We (WA tax payers) design and build a ity bity stadium that is going to be the latest and greatest in WA, just that it is built for such a low crowd numbers that it is obsolete before it is off the drawing board. There is no planning for future growth in crowd numbers at all, the membership numbers of one of the WA clubs would fill the stadium alone with no room for members of the other club that is playing there also.
Then just for good measure the people who have the responsibility of running the WA payed for facility will (because they can) charge nearly twice as much for a seat to see the finials than it does to see any other game at said facility.
Now I don't follow or go to see Australian rules football so it doesn't affect me at all, but I have a mate down the road who is a member of the eagles club and when he learnt of the cost increase he nearly went into melt down mode.
What a blatant case of robbery by a monopoly enterprise, perhaps it's about time there was a royal commission into tax payer funded but privately managed facilities.
