First Snapper ever caught-This morning Cockburn Sound with Beau:

Went out early this morning with Beau, both on our Ski's. Just so good to get out on the water with the Ski's,perfect condition and to top it off I caught my First Snapper.

Thanks Beau for sharing your time and expertise with me, I had a ball just being out on the water-then to top it off the Snapper came on the bite. Yeah- what a great feeling seeing that first Snapper surface and get it into the net.

Then Beau hooked up twice on both rods...but I'll let him explain what happened and why he had to strip off and go for a swim!!!

Thanks again Beau....

Suppose you'll give those poor whiting a rest now! Now you've got a taste for bigger prey!

How did you go landing it on the ski, no probs?
Sounds good to share with a wingman too!

All good John on the Ski-had

All good John on the Ski-had to use the net(from my kayak days),however I might have to get a bigger net,as the Snapper only just fitted into it!

You will have to organize a weekend up here, around Cockburn Sound in the near future. Would be good to meet up,and we have spare beds here and room in the garage for your Ski.

Would be good for all three of us to go out around the reefs and around the Islands...I can a least make sure you catch a herring or whiting
