first timer

went down to the river tonight with Feral and Soupster for the first time ,it was different but enjoyable and couldnt ask for a better night to do it

i didnt do too good but as i was with only a snorkle and flippers , i was amazed how many flatties were about and got buzzed by a school of squid

i will try and get pics of my catch up over the next day or so

thanks for the invite feral

Welcome to the river Russ!

Welcome to the river Russ! Better get some gear and ticket and try a little deeper, which will improve your catch.  Looking forward to the pics.

Was at the Coombe myself - 1 kg (slow night), but 7 good crabs with biggest being 180mm carapace.  Big school of squire pinkies too on front wreck.

Hope the boys gave you a few prawns for ya effort.

Cheers Pete
