fish finder help
Submitted by ricey on Sat, 2010-10-02 18:56
i just got a navman fish 4200 black and white fish finder off ebay.
came with transducer, powers up fine, measures temperature accurately but does not register depth at all (in the water :o)
I guess the transducer is not working - what to do?
Any tips? Where could i get a replacement?
thanks

My Thoughts
My thoughts are, that you find someone local that has the same unit, fit your unit to their installed transducer and test again.
This will establish if it is a transducer problem or a fault with the main unit.
