Caught this just before Christmas. Was a good day out with 10 Sambo's, a nice King George, Yellow Tail Kingfish and 20 thumping sand whiting. At the time called this as a Sambo without a 2nd thought, however the more I look at the photo, it just looks different to the others we caught on the day. So, Sambo or something different?

I think I read in Starlo's book the Australian Fishing Book that there a couple of different similar looking seriolas, and he lists how to differentiate them with different counts of fin spikes or scales or something. Sorry not to be clearer, it's been along time since I saw that info, I'll try find the book and reply back.
