Fishing around Dunno

Well we just got back from our long weekend fishing trip down to Dunno.
Didnt get alot of fishbecause we spent alot of timedriving around looking for locations that wernt getting smashed from the big swell.

We did find some great spots for future reference

Well we arrived at our villa and unpacked.
This pic below was from the next morning, notice all the rods out the window of the WRX

Went strait to Canal rocks the next morning....

Pretty much first cast Lee hooked a decent salmon. We got it right in and onto the rocks where the line broke and the salmon flipped around and back in only to swim off

Next cast (baitcasting) Lee hooked a "unstoppable" Peeled line out and the fight was on for 10min + before snapping off  . Not sure what the fish was

I only ended up getting herring and a small salmon at canal rocks

More to follow...

Great shots

Great shots as always marc - some rough water in those initial picks and nice spots in the latter ones. Shame you couldn't have eyeballed that 'rod bender'! Couple of nice salmon though.

Top quality pics there mate. Shame about the conditions, but as you said, at least you had the chance to find some spots for your next trip down that way.
