Fishing Community in Exmouth
Just wanted to share some good vibes with the wider fishing Community out there.
We are staying in Exmouth for a break, the weather has been less than helpful so getting out has been a bit of a challenge. Finally had a good crack yesterday west of the Cape, never hit the water till 3:15 and travelled for a couple of hours, it was pretty rough and the last of the charter boats had headed in. Two other boats were with us by chance we were all heading for home, whales were everywhere, this required all three boats to manoeuvre out of each other's way at times, great cooperation. Light was fading fast and just about to pull the lines in when my young bloke landed this beauty, a great fight and top fun. We had trouble landing the boat at Tantabiddy, we had some help from some patient guys to get us rolling.
Back at the caravan park the Mackie created a heap of interest and scales were called- had to go around the park and ask, some great boaties from down south called in a local from Exmouth with his scales.
What a great bunch of people we have had the privilege of meeting here, a breath of fresh air.
Also a big thanks to the guys at Exy Tackle World who sold the young bloke the new rod a couple of hours earlier!
A PB for the boat, 1.47m and 23.5kg.

Quality there Justin, congrats to the young fella. That is a horse of a mackie.
For those that don't know, Jayden would have to be close to 6'5 so puts that fish into perspective. Well done!!!!
Have to catch up soon mate, havent seen you around for a while.
