the amount of fishing comps around these days (not just in WA ) that are offering very good prize money , if a bloke was a crack fisherman ( and I am not ) he/she could probably make a living just fishing comps with a bit of sponsorship

Theoretically possible that it could be done but realistically there isn't too many comps in Australia offering decent prize money.
Would be better off running specialised comp charters and making sure you consistently do well. That way you will be guaranteed a pay cheque.
Does anyone know where the love of god goes, when the waves turn the minutes to hours?
