looking to fish a lake or dam within 2-3 hours of perth this weekend with boat had planned Harvey but just found out not in season. Any ideas

but if you go on the comp dates, submit some entrys, i would say there wouldnt be alot of fresh water stuff entered and would be a welcomed addition to the variety.

try logue brook dam thats perth side of harvey and maybe waroona dam im not shure if waroona holds fish but im pretty shure logue brook does

Some are open
Some areas are open all year, but i dont think a boat would be any good, The Warren and Donnely rivers are open all year( i think ) and there are a few more.
Cant remember all of them, the fisheries site has a list of were you can fish.

Harvey dam season opens 1st
Harvey dam season opens 1st of september for trout, but you can fish for redfin all year round. If you catch a trout you just have to release it.

Don't forget your freshwater
Don't forget your freshwater rec licence, we are going to harvey dam today for a look ,maybe a fish as well.
