Fishing - FW Long Weekend Photo's

Was a good day out fishing yesterday, Bolts had some awesome success on the light gear inshore. In 14m of water his 60cm pink snapper and 20kg+ samsonfish were steam trains, but he managed to hold them off the sharp bottom. After the wind and the bite quietened down we headed out behind Rottnest to do some jigging. Once out there we noticed the only boat was hooked up, we tried jigging with little results and then turned to bait. We started getting into them and had some awesome afternoon fun, it went quiet on the jigs even thou we had them stirred up, was a bit wierd. Did someone say VORTEX? lol :)))

Anyway, hope you all had a great long weekend, has been some great conditions, hope to hear some good fishing tales. :)

Great weather but a bit slow. We couldnt find schools at all, just individual fish around small structure. Did you guys see all the small bait on the way in south side of rotto? We messed around with pushers, divers and soft plastics but to no avail.

cheers

Nah, didn't see the bait, only a couple of schools that rushed through when we were out with you guys. We came from Hillaries direction so headed back quite north of Rotto and didn't see any surface action.

Saw a few very small schools on the sounder above the structure, but nothing to get excited about. Didn't find any signs of the monster skippy either, oh well, maybe next time. :(

Managed to get quite a few photos of the horse, that's probably the best one thou. If you want a couple of the others, just give me your email address in a private message and ill send them through.

Cheers,
Adam
