Fishing mandrah

Hi all!!
Just wondering were to take a few mates fishing, there will be about 10 of us, so was thinking somewhere with bbqs set up, was told to try the cut mandrah!!
I see there's bbqs at penguin island beach but not sure about the fishing!!

old mandurah bridge
there are bbq's adjacent the old mandurah bridge on the east side in the fore shore park and people are catching herring and the odd tailor from the fishing platform below the bridge on the east side, best on an incoming tide in the morning hope that helps

best bet is the cut. take along a portable bbq and you have no probs. there are several places along both sides to fish with parking close by and others where there will be a bit of walking involved. you can get skippy, herring, gardies , taylor and even the odd kg
