G'day everyone..
It looks like the wind is going to die off to nothing later in the day.. Just wondering if its worth taking the boat out.. I've only got a 4.2m boat set-up for chasing bream but wouldn't mind getting out in the sound (or anywhere around Rockingham) to try catch something different.. Not really keen on heading miles offshore.. Can anyone point me in the right direction..
Cheers.. Have a good one

Definitely head out in the sound. I took the kayak out Friday and scored a heap of squid. Lots of squid and herring in the sound. Only 200m offshore from CY oconnor. Launch at woodies and head out 500m turn to your right and start drifting.

Thanks guys.. I might give it a go from woodies..
I've just jumped on google earth and had a look.. Are you talking all those patches of weed out there? Would you get any herring/flatties from those spots?? I wouldn't mind flicking a few little lures around..

Yeah mate, weedy patches is where the squid and herring are. If your using bait there's also KGs. Goodluck I may head out on the yak for a squid again since my flights o/s has been delayed a day bummer!
