Can't help much but I spoke to a few locals when I was up there last week and apparently telegraph and lange's were really firing.  Unfortunately I didn't have enough time to get there and check it out.

was there 2 weeks ago, got a 88cm and a 107. was really quiet that week with 8 other boats but everyone got a few. tons of bloody sawsharks running, the odd threadie! if its your first time get in a bit of practice with your throw net, rivers full of those popeye mullet so theyre a bit harder to catch than the normal ones you get around the pilbara, either get up real early and go chasing them before the sun rises fully and its stilla bit dark, lot harder for them to see you coming and itl be easier for you to stock up quick! otherwise go for distance. not many eating size ones when i was there, they were all over 80 (max size limit in the fitzroy) so use circle hooks cos they inhale the mullet! nothin worse than gut hookin a biggun! did well on the troll, but again you gotta get in early cos if theres anyone else around they just motor up to the snags in the middle and anchor up, (in fact they even did this when we were trolling, follow 20 meters behind you and then pull up on the logs we just trolled over)bugger all mozzies or sandflies when i was there but you never know.

I called into Telegraph a few

I called into Telegraph a few days ago.  It was very shallow and the boats in the water were struggling to navigate due to the shallow water. Saw one bloke up to his nuts in mud trying to push his boat through the shallow mud.  I gave up and went elsewhere.
