Flares seen off two rocks

Just got home from dinner with me oldies when we saw a flare get set off out of Two Rocks......anyone know what that's about?
Hope it's a genuine thing and not just some yahoo with a flare gun for a laugh!!

Did you ring up the police or sea rescue and report it? If there are a few reports coming from different areas it gives them a chance to triangulate the sightings and get a better idea on where the actual location is.
