Moving cray floats of Cape Naturalist
Submitted by cocokye on Thu, 2012-01-26 19:42
Today sitting off the cape i noticed that there was a cray float that was atually moving , and no I was not drinking !!! I drove over to it and Yes it was actually moving at about 3 knots . i followed it for about half an hr curious what this actually was . i thought it may have been a whale caught in a cray float but it did not surface for air in the time i followed it.
When we had cruised off i see another float in the distance and floated over to it and yes it was moving as well.
There was a pro boat about 2 kms off the cape not moving.
Can any body help with what this was ????

Could have been the old tie
Could have been the old tie a shark rig onto a spare float line and when a shark pops up ditch it ova keep working and find ya floats later once the sharks burnt itself out. Takes a big shark to dunk all floats but
