Flatrock here we come!

Heading up to flatrock on saturday morning if anyone is keen to join us. Me and sherbert are will be going but you do need a 4X4 to get there! There may be some room with someone else but that will have to be confirmed. 9 to 12 foot rods are the go and a block of mulies and some blue bait do the trick. Poppers and metals as well if your into that. We will be leaving farely early and i will put up a meeting spot if we get any interest. Cheers Chris.

Dont forget your reef shoes

Fri, 2007-03-16 09:13

Dont forget your reef shoes or sneakers as its pretty sharp on the reef. A bait or reef bag is also handy to save you walking back and forth to get bait etc. Head lamp as well if youve got one so you dont fall off the end like sherbs nearlly does.

Dont know about learning too

Fri, 2007-03-16 10:48

Dont know about learning too much there mate but you have to be prepared as you still have to remember its pretty dangerous and a fall off the edge wouldnt be a good thing so we keep an eye on each other all the time. Thats why i take sherbs because hes a bit on the older generation side of things and a bit wobberly of his feet. Saying that though im the only one who has fallen over so far much to the amusement of the others. Were all about having fun and if you were to tag along which your more than welcome, im sure you wont stop laughing! Bluddy funny guys and good fisherman to boot.
