Mindarie Tailor

My mate caught this 40cm specimen while ballooning for sharks. Was almost gonna pack up and leave when the rachet went off.....too bad it was on 15kg tackle. Would have been nice on something lighter.

What size rig where you using? Tailor on balloon, theres a newy!

Yes quite a surprise...it was actually our 1st attempt at shark ballooning but at least we didn't go back empty handed.
Was on a 2 hook 9/0 wire rig...with a party balloon and sent it out about 100m off the mindarie rock wall.
Didn't have any mullet so was using mulie bits separately instead...

And are a nice size 2 getting up around 50 cm
