Thought I'd get this going since the MIGHTY EAGLES handed out a thrashing today. Welcome back to the house of pain fellow punters. Their intensity was good but reckon they need to gel a bit better to get the flowing footy happening. I thought they farted around with it at times but signs are all good. A few to come back from injury should give us some depth. Loved the tackling at hard at the footy paid dividends today. Keep it up boys!

Johnson and macpharlin fitness tests. Barlow fyfe and dawson out. Ballaz had his head slammed into the turf but played on so he should be ok. But the old mantra. .. anyone anytime anywhere... and the hawks are missing a few too

the big one is Fyfe - geez i rate that kid highly, one of the best ive seen - i had a few bucks on him to win the brownlow as well at $10, dark on that.

Unscathed last season? Were you overseas or out of media range. Sandilands, griffen, bradley, pavlich, ibbitson, macpharlin, pearce all had long stints injuried... but we still kept winning.

bradley, ibbotson, pearce, griffen - hmmmm i suppose for freo they are superstars, and i said "fairly unscathed" and by that list id classs that as fairly.
i mean on ballers mate - you keep your core midfield together and your a big chance, alot harder to replace a gun on baller.

Ibbitson and macpharlin were
Ibbitson and macpharlin were both in all australian form when injury struck. Ibbitson was leading the league in intercept marks at the time. Takes a person with special qualities or just a dumb bastard to step in the way of a charging full forward time after time. Macpharlin is structural our most important player and pearce (clancee) is one of our best rebounding defenders / penetrating kicks.
All fairly significant to the best defensive six in the league.
So I treat your observation with the contempt it deserved.
