does anyone have one??

i'm interested to know the colour they show up as on screen.

red red red on my furuno 585 but the colour imo shows how dense a school is not what type of fish it is

grayzee, everyone has their own interpretation but this has worked for me over many years!!

 

As requested;

 

This below pic is a school of offshore pink snapper on my old Furuno sounder..........they come up as orange in the middle with green outer and thats solid pink snapper!

 

 

This below pic is a school of inshore pink snapper on my new Furuno sounder..........they come up as dense red and the bigger the red blobs the bigger the pink snapper!

I assume the settings are the same on both units

Same settings and yes the depth changes the return echos so it reads differently!

top pic shows what i needed to see.

also shows the green/blue clouds i've been seeing a fair amount of , are prob bait/rubbish fish
