Gamefishing Club Membership ?

G'day Crew,
Just wondering how many of you are gamefishing club members and which club you belong to? I was also wondering if theres any interest from people in joining a club in the future, people looking to getting into tagging billfish / sailfish etc and maybe entering comp's which require membership. I'm a member of Exmouth Game Fishing Club (EGFC) with membership up for renewal soon, just thought I'd see what the general consensus is about joining a club or if anyone's interested.

EGFC
Yeh same Adam, EGFC. Planning on doing a bit more re events now my other boat is stationed there and blending into "all species" more so. I have joined other clubs to do comps at that time only both here and upnorth but will stay ongoing with EGFC

Yeah I'm with the Nickol Bay Sport Fishing Club, think my membership renewal is overdue though.. it's been a while since I've been to a club meeting.
I tagged last year and over the summer whacked about 10 tags in barramundi (one of which was recaptured by Brads brother), around 20 odd in threadfin salmon and about 10 in mangrove jacks.

i joined the local game
i joined the local game fishing club when i first moved down here and needed a little advise with local conditions and such, and found it full of arrogant pricks that wouldnt help thier mother down a flight of stairs ... needless to say i was very put off as a younger member and will never go back ... cant say im too suprised that the club has nearly folded in the last few years .. ... i would be happy to join a diff one if it was nice and friendly with a bbq and beer every now and again

I think you need 6-10 members.....get associated elected roll bearers and then become affiliated with the WAGFA....
