Garmin Striker 7" sounder

Has anyone used or heard much about the Garmin Striker Saunders?
I'm looking for a larger screen sounder for my tinny and these are going cheap at the moment. Chasing any good or bad opinions on them before forking out cash.
Cheers

Striker
They seem to be good value if you don't need pre-loaded maps to guide you. The striker GPS only shows where you have been and any marks you make. Other than that it doesn't have any map detail.

Yeah I'll still run my lowrance sounder/plotter alongside it. They seem like good value for what i need.

Ive run a striker 7dv on my tinny for the last 18months or so, reckon for the price theyre hard to go by.
I find the 77/200khz along with the 455/800khz in the one transducer pretty handy as i do a mix of inshore creek/offshore 50-100m plus fishing. The gps is basic but is good enough to plot your way through creek mouths and save spots out and about, i just run navionics on the phone to get a rough idea of possible spots then search around and save them on the sounder out there.
The new striker plus model has a proper mapping system but think its limited to 2million acres, could be worth a look for 600 bucks

Navtronics app is a ripper ive seen it used in an FRC to get a sick crew menber ashore up north, worth its wait in gold i reckon

I've got a Striker 7SV.
I've got a Striker 7SV. Very happy with it, easy to use, sideview is great. Ideal for rivers. I wouldn't get one for bluewater though. I run mine side by side with a Furuno 587 and there is no comparison. The furuno is streets in front even with the standard 600w transducer.
