Geraldton Kids fishing

Hi All,
Heading to Geraldton and wondering if there is any good kids friendly fishing spots. I havnt been to Gero for 20+ years so and advise or directions would be great.

River just nrth of gero
On Chapman road good for kids . Grunters /black bream. Even when you follow river all way in still get fish. Just fun fishing
