Getting spare parts, OMG Covid issues

cant believe how much the supply chain has been disrupted.
My ETC 115 has a fuel leak in the fuel/vapour seperator and obviously is unuseable.
Made me think of getting a 4S motor as Evinrude has gone toe-up. Cant get a 115 4S of the preferred brand until 2021!! So thats out if I want to be on the water for Xmas and crabbing in Mandurah.
Have been waiting for 9 weeks so far for the replacement Evinrude part and no news despite calls ++ to the Service centre. They cant even get an estimate about when.
Getting itchy feet as I have a brand new Humminbird to test and setup that havent even seen a drop of water.
Anyone else in this situation.

Don't know what's worse .
Don't know what's worse . Having a boat just sitting there that can't be used or having a boat 1600ks away and cant use it.
It's been a right pain all round. I have customers here in hedland that have been waiting on stuff for months . Hopefully things will start to get back to normal soon . .

Shipping times have doubled because of covid what used to be a 4,week return from Singapore to Western Australia now takes 8 because crews need to quarantine on both ends of the trips w We did some work for a shipping mogul recently and He was stressed as about it
