Is anybody using a lowrance globalmap 7200? Can anybody give some info or reviews on them? Thanks

Had one for just over 1 year now. Fantastic.

Easy to read and use. Would get another one anyday of the week.

After coming out on my boat Mako Magic went out and got one as well as it was so much better than his Navman.

Navionics maps have good detail as well.

Thanks Tim, the price from the show was the same as what bonza imports are selling them for. Thats pretty cheap.

Good thing about the 7200 is the price. Massive jump up to the 8200.

The 7200 also accepts the broadband unit if you want to make it a combo later (testing mine next time out) and if you are really want to radar will plug into them as well.

I have the 8200 and love it. Can't really give any review except it does what I want it to do, shows good detail and I love the big screen. I had initially gone for the 7200 but got a free upgrade due to a misquote on something on the new boat. Came from a Navman and no real comparison.

agree the global map is a top little unit, running it in the mako and even got a spare bracket and cord to use it in the tinny too when i set the boat up, great unit for the price and the navionics card is alot better than c-map
