Glow away

After some thoughts.

We have just made a rudimentary glow box to test various glowing things.

Some products that are meant to glow, don't or hardly do, others are blinding.

What are people's thoughts on how much say, a soft plastic should glow? do you want a plastic that is going to light up like a christmas tree (like a B2 lumo squid) or does the very subtle glow of a nuclear chicken gulp do it for you?

Do you think fish are attracted or put off by something at night that looks radioactive?

Brody.

Hey Brody....your the expert......why not take a glowy thing out on your next trip to the 3 Mile at 4 am and you use the glowy soft plastic and see if you can keep up with the old man on bait....

I tried a fully charged B2 in complete darkness.....could see it down over 10 m......the fish must have been laughing at my feeble attempts to trick them, as it as it did not get touched in over 2 hours.

you should fish the two

you should fish the two plastics in the burley trail at night

one that's just glowing and one that lights right on up , and report back with the results.

as if you need another excuse anyway! Laughing

If I spent half as long fishing , as I do reading this bloody forum , I'd be twice the fisherman I am.

Brody

Try them under uv black light using the blue LED torches

Everything in their world is virtually under blue light.

Dhus along with a myriad of other species can see them from a mile away

Living things produce that same light.

Live coral takes on a whole new meaning when put under black light.
