Gnarloo help
Submitted by suggarman on Wed, 2014-02-26 14:34
hi guys,
me and my dad are taking our 14ft tinny up to gnarloo for the first time over the easter holidays.
is there any one here that could shead some light on what fish would be arround then and what methods work best to catch them?
also where would be a good place to start looking for quality fish?
any help would be greatly appreciated.

Big macks north of the bay
Big macks north of the bay in the 20m mark in the arvos. We have have some moster macks landed in no mans land plus no sharks out there. Litterally go 1nm north of the bay outside of sanctuary and have a crack. For bottom fish head out due west of the bay and sniff around the 40-50m line plenty of ground to be found. Note when retrieving boat use ramps on the trailer and avoid dropping trailer wheels over the drop off at low tide.
