how do these rods rate? looking at getting the 1.5pe, running 20lb on my rarenium 2500, they are well priced from what i can see, will be my first time jigging so dont want to get to carried away as i dont own a boat.

Gomoku
I bought the red one last week and matched it with my Daiwa 2500 and 15lb braid. Prob my favorite light combo I've got now, used it here in the estuary catching tailor and cast more accurate than my other combos and pulled in 400mm models with ease!! I'll be using it offshore next weekend and have got a heap of 30 -50g jigs to try

Gomoku
It's balanced perfectly I wouldn't want to go a bigger size reel otherwise it defeats the purpose of "light jigging" the reel is a freams, don't be put off by how light the tip is they have pleanty of grunt!

I've got the blue pe 1-3 rod
I've got the blue pe 1-3 rod matched on my sustain 5000, and it's an absolute cracker of a rod. They look pretty flimsy but they can knock over fish quite quickly, I've used mine on sambos, snapper and a few big rays and love it.
definately get one, I picked up mine secondhand, basically brand new for 100 so can complain on the price
1 from the beach is worth 10 from a boat
