Good baitcaster reels?

Im thinking of getting my first baitcaster reel, What are some good reels that won't cost an arm and a leg?

are excellent reels.  Good drag.  Not expensive and they cast really really well.  A lot of the guys who do dry casting use them.

You could probably go the Abu

You could probably go the Abu Black Max or Silver Max. I can only comment on these  as  i have a  black max as  a  spare combo for someone  else to use. Its a pretty significant drop in quality but ive  still managed   jacks, trevs,  and  cods. Just make sure  the  braid  is spooled on  very tight.it might be better to start with mono.

Im sure shimano  and daiwa baitcaster  have reels suitable for your  budget but cant comment  having neve rused them
