Good first boat?

In the near future i will be looking to buy my first boat.Whats a good first boat? Looking at a quintrex coast runner or trailcraft profish something between the 20-30k range

I will be using it for Light
I will be using it for Light coastal fishing, the swan, cockburn sound, port kennedy etc. i have a young family too so my little one wont be going out for a couple years yet shes only 3 weeks old :). Some sort of sun shade would be needed

IMO if I had 30k i'd be
IMO if I had 30k i'd be looking for a used 5.5 meter glass cuddy cab. mate had a haines sig 542 which would be great with family and safe as offshore.
I have owned and been out on a mates quintrex. both cracked at the welds , so not for me.
If I spent half as long fishing , as I do reading this bloody forum , I'd be twice the fisherman I am.

If its your first one i'd be
If its your first one i'd be looking mainly at ali because it's more user friendly incase you drop it on the ramp or hit something in the water while your learning the tricks of the trade. Some sort of runabout would be preferable with a new 2 stroke or 4 stroke and you can't go wrong. Have a look on gumtree or boatsonline. Good luck
